There are now appointments from 7.35am in the morning on Monday to Thursday mornings with Dr Hazarika. These are pre booked appointments only.
If you feel you need an urgent appointment/telephone consultation or home visit please ring early between 9.00am and 9.30pm on the day. Please do not ring before 9.00am as this is for emergency paramedic requests only.
Routine consultations with a Doctor last ten minutes, however if you feel you need longer we are happy to book you a double appointment. Appointments can be booked in person in the surgery, by telephone or online. We run morning and afternoon surgeries every weekday (excluding holidays).
If you cannot keep your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible.
GP Enhanced Access Services
Important: Enhanced Access Service Update
From 1 April 2026, the Enhanced Access service will be provided directly by Billingham and Norton Primary Care Network (PCN). This service was previously delivered by Hartlepool and Stockton Health (HASH)
There will be no pause or disruption to services, and patients will continue to be able to access appointments in the same way as before. Clinics will continue to run at the same locations and times, and patients can expect the same range of services to be available.
This change simply means the service will now be managed locally by the Billingham and Norton PCN on behalf of our member practices.
If you have an appointment booked after 1 April, there is nothing you need to do, and your appointment will go ahead as planned.
Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobile phones. If you have a life threatening medical emergency please call 999.
Remember - Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pain and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
If you need help when we are closed
- Use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111. 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
- Out of hours information
- If it’s a life-threatening emergency call 999.

Home Visits
If you think you need a home visit during the day, please phone the surgery as early as possible. The doctor will determine if a visit is needed.
It is important that the doctor talks to the patient to decide on the urgency of the visit. For this reason you may receive a phone consultation with your doctor first.
Home visits are usually carried out in the afternoon on the day they have been requested. In cases of emergency the doctor will leave the practice at any time of the day.
Home visits are reserved for the immobile, all other patients are expected to come to the surgery.
